VIM is a huge community with many people involved, directly or indirectly, including musicians, composers, sound artists, presenters, promoters, visual artists, dancers, technicians, instrument makers/ sellers, writers, journalists, funders, art directors, board/ committee members, administrators, accountants, consultants, researchers, volunteers, teachers, students, hippies, bohemians, those who don't care about roles or titles, and anyone who simply enjoy music.

Then there is something called "genre". A label that helps us organize our works and thoughts but categorizes and divides us at the same time... classical, jazz, folk, pop, indie, world (world?!), electronic, avant-garde, early, new, improvised, and hundreds of sub-genres!

Through What's Your Music?, we would like to find out more about music and each other... the insights into our guests, what inspired them then, what inspires them now, their connection to music and to the VIM.

A word or sound may stay with us, guide us, for the day or even a lifetime.

Keep an open mind and enjoy.
